| Alice shot this black and white portrait of Peter on left. It was immediately before Peter had photographed child actor Bobby Diamond. Peter thinks children are usually difficult subjects, however Bobby was a real professional. Alice, as usual, handled the props. Notice how great Alice's portrait of Peter is. It is from a superbly sharp 4x5 negative. Her awareness of posing and lighting proved masterful. | |

![]() In 1942, Alice gave birth to Ann, left. In 1949 Peter gave birth to this little red playhouse for Ann. As with all his projects, he made step-by-step photographs for submission to magazines. Better Homes and Gardens liked Peter's clever pre-fab design and published a small booklet for their subscribers. Ann was happy. Peter was happy, and Alice was happy with the big fat check! |

A book of 47 poems and drawings of the 60's by Mary Lee Gowland with a preface by Anais Nin book price $5.00 plus S&H $2 US Post in CA add tax "In The Garden" (sample poem) When the din of our overused conversations becomes too dissonant for my ears I retreat beneath a tree and let the rustling wind brush my worried thoughts away. When I shrink untrusting from those men who disappoint me those women with problems of their own when I'm lonely I turn to God always with me constant in the face of change yet always new and unexplored. |
