If you find a good deal at auction on a used Gowlandflex, chances are very good that it can be put into top working order.
Many of the classic Gowland parts are still available, and nobody knows how to make a Gowlandflex work properly better than Peter.

Found an early wooden Gowlandflex in need of repair?
After many years of hard use, most early Gowlandflex cameras can be restored as good as new.
Whether you need new bellows, focus rack parts, groundglass or even parts for the Graflock backs, chances are good that you're in luck.
In addition to repairs, some parts for Gowland cameras may be purchased separately when available.

Be sure to enquire about possible upgrades to your favorite Gowland camera. Parts to convert the classic Gowland 4x5 Glamour Camera into a 5x7 are still available, and the price of just $320 for the conversion is hard to beat.
Repair of non-Gowland camera parts is not offered at this time, however Peter may refer you to someone who can help with such things as cleaning shutters or in some cases, obtaining new lenses.
